OK so RED DEAD REDEMPTION cost around 60million to make.$60 (for a copy of Darksiders 2) x 2million sales is double that… I dont understand why they need $120million to break even.

They don’t get the full $60. Some of it goes to publishers, a lot to tax. Etc etc. So most likely the profit they make from that $60 is much less than one would expect

Sounds right. If they only got $10 for a copy then 2million sales makes sense. I dont see Darksiders 2 costing more than 20million to make.Still THATS RAPE. The videogame industry sucks balls.

This is sad. I only recently had the privilege of playing Darksiders, and it was a heck of a lot of fun. Looking forward to playing number two. Was going to get it in December.
